The leading theme was: “Independence and effectiveness”.</span></p> <p><span>I was invited along with the representatives from the world of business, enterprise, investment and as well as heads of local government units to join the panel about the situation of women in the labor market. </span></p> <p><span></span><span>There are thousands of gifted and intelligent women who are unable (from a variety of reasons) to find their place on the labor market - u</span><span>nemployed mothers bringing up children, students or pensioners. Women who want to be active and change their professions, simply do not know how to do it.</span></p> <p><span>I wanted to create a system which would allow them to earn without a must of leaving their houses.</span></p> <p><span>The market needs craftsmanship - dressmakers, the skill of embroidery, translators, illustrators and graphic designers. It is also the biggest Chanel boutique in the world. </span><span>On three floors, one can find everything - from the latest collection, jewelry, accessories to beauty products.</span><span>The store was designed by Peter Marino, who has been in a close cooperation with Karl Lagerfeld for a long time. Marino was inspired by Chanel’s icons - pearls, camelias and private belongings of Coco Chanel from her apartment in rue Cambon. Marino is well known for the incorporation of art in his designs.Here he gathered 25 pieces. The focal point of the boutique is a hanging from the ceiling sculpture inspired by Chanel pearls and made of hand - blown Venetian glass. He is one of the most recognizable English artists. </span><span></span><span>In 2003 he received Turner Award.</span><br/><span>He is best known for his pottery, sculptures and unique creation of fabrics, but also for his alter ego - Claire. This great exhibition, which this year happened for the 25th time, presents contemporary art pieces by renowned and recognized artists as well as by young and upcoming ones. They all represent different form of art: painting, sculpture, photography and movie.</span><br/><span>The party is definitely one of the most important ones throughout the year. I chose to attend it in a company of La Mania’s CEO - Sylwia Oleszczuk and my friend Amanda.</span><br/><span>The atmosphere was great - relaxed and fun. London is a multicultural and a colorful city and that’s how the party felt like.</span><span>This year, big and long red carpet transformed into a fluo lemon one. </span><span>Massive crowd besides admiring the art pieces, was enjoying live music played by famous London dj’s and trendy drinks. </span><span>Amongsts the invited guests one could spot popular artists, models, politicians and businessmen. This is an event that gathers many luxury brands from different segments of the market.<br/>Sunreef Yachts – our great strategic partner - organized the event to provide an opportunity for the best luxury brands in Poland to showcase their products. Next to amazing yachts, guests could notice such renowned brands as Ferrari, Mercedes, Moet Chandon and – of course – La Mania.<br/>This was a great occasion to preview our Autumn/Winter 2013/14 collection in the beautiful environment of the Moltawa river.The weather was great, there were many guests, friends of La Mania, as well as representatives from the world of business, show - business and fashion.
